Google Demo still coming….

Chris Bishop | 11 September, 2008 | 10:10
My work on the google maps demo has been slow due to outside factors but I am making progress.  I am sketching and drawing out how I plan to implement adding corners.  I’m talking with Cathy about the angle road pieces she made since they are not behaving how I’d expected.  I also recommend changing the default position, if possible, to the center of the bottom edge of the model so it would be easier for me to line it up with other models. So I also did some testing to confirm my roads behave correctly regards of the direction they point in. Since I organized my code it was really easy to add such testing. Till next time keep cool!

It seemed pretty straightforward when I first started working on it, but I have had little success. [...]

A hair away…

Alas, I have approached the summit. With my hands, I have created a Mac application, which runs, and has the customized chrome interface. This alone is an incredible feat for me, since I rarely create GUI-based programs, and I certainly haven’t developed them on a Mac before. The only problem is that the canvas element [...]
